3 Homemade Eye Creams for Lines and Wrinkles That Work

One of the best things you can do for your face when you want to reduce fine lines and wrinkles is to apply a face cream. If the crow’s feet and lines around your eyes are bothering you, then you might be curious about creams that can help with this.

Luckily, you can make these on your own at home. This can be a more natural approach and save you money in the process.

These homemade recipes for skincare can be created if you don’t have too many helpful appliances but I do recommend a few helpful items to make creating these recipes easier:

Digital Scale

Immersion Blender

Shea Butter and Oil Cream

This homemade eye cream softens the lines around your eyes. The oils are great for anti-aging.

Ingredients:

1.4 oz. Shea Butter

.3 oz. Emulsifying Wax

.01 oz. Vitamin E Oil

1.2 oz. Coconut Oil

1.1 oz. Almond Oil

.01 oz. Lavender Essential Oil

Directions to make the Homemade Shea Butter Eye Cream:

Add the Shea Butter, Emulsifying Wax, Coconut Oil, and Almond Oil to a double boiler. (Place ingredients in heat-safe container. Place heat-safe container in a pan filled with about an inch of water).

Allow water to heat. Wait until wax and oils fully melt and then remove from heat. Blend ingredients together until fully mixed.

Once mixture has cooled, add in the Vitamin E oil and Essential Oils.

Mix together and then place into a glass jar to store until you are ready to use. This recipe should make just over 4 ounces of cream.

Do not store the mixture for more than a week.

DIY Night Cream

This night cream contains a lot of ingredients, but you can definitely switch it up and customize it according to your needs. This is a night cream you can apply to your face before bed, then wake up feeling refreshed with soft, glowing, youthful skin.

Ingredients:

1 oz. Emulsifying Wax

2.9 oz. Coconut Oil

1.8 oz. Almond Oil

.5 oz. Raw Honey

.1 oz. Vitamin E Oil

.5 oz. Bentonite Clay

.8 oz. Aloe Vera Juice

Directions for DIY Night Cream:

Add the emulsifying wax, coconut oil, and almond oil together in a heat-safe container. Put this container in a pan filled with one inch of water. Heat the water up and allow the wax and oils to melt together.

Once the oils and wax have melted, take the ingredients off the heat and wait for the mixture to cool slightly. Blend the mixture together until it is creamy. Add the bentonite clay and blend again until fully mixed.

Add in the raw honey and Vitamin E oil. Stir these ingredients in to the mixture.

Once the mixture has fully cooled, add to a glass jar and store until ready for use. Do not store for more than a week. This recipe should make about 8 ounces.

Rosehip Eye Cream

This eye cream adds rosehip oil and lavender oil for relaxation. The homemade eye cream is soothing to your skin. It’s perfect for a nighttime eye cream.

Ingredients:

.8 oz. Emulsifying Wax

1.8 oz. Almond Oil

.5 oz. Raw Honey

.5 oz. Lavender Essential Oil

.4 oz. Rose hip Seed Oil

Directions for Rosehip Eye Cream:

Add the emulsifying wax and almond oil together in a heat-safe container. Put the container in a pan with 1 inch of water. Heat the water until the wax and oil melt.

Take the oil and wax off of the heat and blend together. Wait until the mixture cools slightly and blend again until mixture is creamy.

Add in the raw honey and rosehip seed oil. Blend together. Finally, add in the essential oil and stir mixture one final time.

Put the mixture in a glass container and store until you are ready to use. Do not store for more than a week.

I hope these 3 homemade eye cream recipes help you out. I really prefer homemade skincare and beauty products over store bought products. While it might be a pain to take extra time to find the ingredients, get the supplies together, and make the recipe, it really does make a world of difference to your skin. I know my skin thanks me for starting to make my own skincare products!
